About the practice

Initially working as a sole trader since May 2009, I formed Pragnell Architecture in February 2011. I have 15 years experience of working in the residential sector of the industry, specialising in works to listed and historic buildings.

I have been employed by a number of prestigious architectural practices including the Conservation Practice and Robert Adam Architects (now Adam Architecture). As an Associate I headed-up a small team dedicated to working solely on projects related to listed and historic buildings. During this time I worked on high quality, bespoke residential projects for private clients with contract values of up to £3m. These projects required a high level of detailing and specification.

Immediately prior to setting-up my own practice, I worked for Michael Drury Architects (now St. Ann’s Gate Architects) on the on-going Major Repair Programme at Salisbury Cathedral together with the conservation, repair and maintenance of parish churches under the care of the practice.

My professional qualifications are an honours degree in Building Conservation Technology and a Diploma in Building Surveying. These are in addition to my technical qualifications gained as an architectural technologist.

The practice offers a full range of architectural services from inception to completion for the following works: alteration and adaptation, remodelling, refurbishment, extensions and new build.
